ISIS claimed responsibility for the recent attack on the Syrian army base.
According to the Al-Ahed website, the ISIS terrorist group took responsibility for the attack on the suburbs of al-Mayadeen located in Deir Ezzor province (eastern Syria).
As a result of this attack on the base of the 17th division of the Syrian army in the suburbs of al-Mayadeen, located in Deir ez-Zor province, more than 30 soldiers of the Syrian army were killed and wounded.
In recent weeks, the remnants of the ISIS terrorist group have once again resumed their terrorist activities in some border areas of Iraq and Syria with the covert support of some Western countries, led by the United States.
The elements of this terrorist group are trying to return to the scene of developments in the region by carrying out terrorist operations by focusing on the border and hard-to-pass points that are outside the control of the governments of Iraq and Syria and are sometimes under the control of American forces.
