According to the Afghan Voice (Ava) news agency, the Takfiri-terrorist group ISIS claimed responsibility for the bloody explosion in Mazar-e-Sharif in a message on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the local media of Afghanistan reported the explosion in Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province.
“Talua News” quoted eyewitnesses and announced that the explosion occurred in the “Tebyan” cultural center and during the appreciation of local journalists.
Initial reports indicated that at least 10 people were injured in this explosion.
An Afghan government official had announced in a conversation with Al Jazeera that a number of people were killed and injured in this explosion.
Reuters quoted the Afghan police as saying that at least one person was killed and 5 others were injured in an explosion today at the Tebayan cultural center in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif in Balkh province in northern Afghanistan. However, Al Jazeera, citing sources from the Taliban government, announced that at least 4 people were killed and 16 others were injured in this explosion.
