ISIL supporter arrested during Al-Kadhimi pilgrimage to the holy shrine of Mecca.
Security forces at the Makki shrine on Tuesday arrested a man chanting in support of ISIS during a visit by the Iraqi prime minister and a delegation from the Masjid al-Haram and the House of God.
Mecca police announced the arrest of a man chanting slogans in support of terrorist groups at the Grand Mosque.
According to Al-Jazeera, a spokesman for the Mecca-Makkah police said that security forces in the holy shrine of Makkah arrested a man who was carrying a cold weapon and chanting slogans in support of terrorist groups after prayers at the Al-Haram Mosque on Tuesday evening.
Saberin News Iraq also reported that the man was chanting slogans in support of ISIL during the Umrah rites performed by Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi and the Iraqi delegation near the Kaaba.
Mustafa al-Kadhimi’s office announced today (Thursday) that he and his entourage performed the Umrah rituals.
The Iraqi Prime Minister arrived in Riyadh on Wednesday at the head of a high-level delegation.
