Iraqi representative: Because of the murder of Zainab Essam, the American ambassador should be summoned.
A member of the Iraqi parliament demanded to summon the country’s ambassador following the killing of a teenage girl by American terrorist soldiers.
Ahmed Taha al-Rabiei, a member of the Iraqi parliament, strongly criticized the killing of “Zainab Essam” by the American terrorist soldiers.
Mowazin News reported, quoting al-Rabi’i, that although two days have passed since Essam was shot dead by American forces present at the Victoria base in northwest Baghdad, the American embassy has not yet officially apologized for this unwarranted action.
He stated that the killing of this girl was a result of the use of war bullets by the American soldiers for training in residential areas, and considered this issue as a dangerous sign of disrespecting the sovereignty of Iraq and underestimating the blood of the people of this country.
This representative asked the Iraqi government to take appropriate legal measures to punish the perpetrators of this incident, summon the American ambassador and hand over a protest note to him so that this incident is not simply passed over.
Essam, who was present at his father’s farm, was shot dead by American soldiers. The people living in this area gave explanations about his death and said that the bullet was fired from an American military training camp inside the Baghdad International Airport.
Local media also published more details of this incident, quoting the family of Zainab, a young Iraqi girl; One of them told a local TV station: “The bullet that hit Zainab’s body came from behind; Where there is a military shooting range inside Baghdad International Airport and near their village.
In addition to the demands and requests for research in this case, the hashtag #America_Zainab_Ra_Kasht became a trend on social networks and by Arab-speaking users.
