Iraqi PM: Iraq Supports Syria By All Possible Means.
According to SANA news agency, “Falih al-Fayyaz”, the head of Iraqi Popular Mobilization Organization, during a meeting with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, conveyed to him the message of Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani regarding the comprehensive support of this country to Syria.
In his message, the Iraqi Prime Minister, while expressing his condolences for the death of thousands of Syrian citizens in the recent earthquake, emphasized that Iraq supports the Syrian government’s efforts to reduce the consequences of the recent severe earthquake with all its resources.
The President of the Syrian Republic also appreciated Iraq’s positions at both the government and people’s levels in quickly responding to Syria’s needs and emphasized the fraternal relations between the two nations of Syria and Iraq.
He added: The common challenges that the two countries have been involved in at different stages are often close to each other and both sides support and support each other because they know that the issues and problems of one country affect the other.
Previously, Bashar al-Assad expressed gratitude to the countries that helped the earthquake victims of this country and said: There is a deep sense of belonging among the Syrian people towards this country, and if the war causes the destruction of Syria’s national resources and Its facilities may be weakened, but it gave the Syrian society the experience of dealing with an earthquake. We have persevered against every problem and conspiracy in the past 12 years, and we will overcome this natural disaster.
It should be noted that a large earthquake shook southern Turkey and northern Syria on the morning of Monday. During this 7.8 magnitude earthquake, many buildings were damaged and search and rescue teams are removing the debris and rescuing those trapped under the debris.
This fatal incident has brought widespread reactions and the leaders of different countries have expressed their sympathy with the Syrian and Turkish nations, and in this regard, aid has been given to the two countries.
