Sheikh al-Samidai, the Mufti of Iraq, said that Palestine is a holy land and that the issue of Palestine is a matter of ideology, humanity and Islam.
On the eve of World Al-Quds Day, Iraqi Mufti Sheikh Mehdi Al-Samidai said that the Holy Land of Palestine is a land of jihad and resistance, which is subject to sedition and temptation because the Jews are always crawling towards it.
“Iraqis have played an important role in the liberation of Jerusalem throughout history,” he said. “World Al-Quds Day is a great day and we hope that there will be an Islamic revolution that will liberate Palestine and the Palestinian people.” And whatever he has lost for more than eighty years, give it back.
Al-Samidai called on the Muslims of the world to put aside their religious differences and gather the usurper enemy out of the land of Palestine by gathering under the banner of Islam.
