Iran’s full membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization coincides with America’s Independence Day.
The Russian Sputnik news agency quoted Tajik political expert Abdul Ghani Mohammad Azim and added: The choice of this particular day for Iran’s full membership in the Shanghai Organization is not accidental, but rather an unexpected gift from Russia and China to their strategic rival, the United States of America.
He added: The visit of Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the US House of Representatives, to Taiwan, was a provocative move for China, which publicly protested against this trip, and it is clear that Iran’s acceptance into the Shanghai Cooperation Organization on America’s Independence Day is aimed at responding to America’s actions in It is disrespectful to China.
This Tajik political expert stated that Iran’s joining the Shanghai Organization is a clear sign of changing the geopolitical balance in the region and the world and will strengthen the position of Russia and China in competition with America and NATO.
He said: Previously, Russia and China were cautious about Iran’s joining the Shanghai Organization, but after the differences with Washington increased and these differences became public, this process accelerated.
According to Azim, Iran’s joining the Shanghai Cooperation Organization means that it is the turn of some Arab countries that want to join this organization, and this in turn means expanding the geography of this organization from North to South Eurasia.
He added: China succeeded in reconciling Iran and Saudi Arabia, the two leaders of the Islamic world who had been at odds with each other for years and was able to pave the way for them to join the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
This Tajik political expert stated: Kuwait, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates, which were known as traditional partners of the United States of America, like Saudi Arabia, have applied to become dialogue partners with the Shanghai Organization, and even Turkey, a member of NATO, has obtained this position.
