Indian lawmakers and people call for investigation into Zionist spyware.
Indian lawmakers and citizens have called for a full and independent investigation into the use of Zionist spyware against Indian parties and people.
The Indian Parliament on Monday witnessed widespread protests by lawmakers opposed to the ruling party to investigate the Pegasus spy’s spyware.
According to the Anatolian News Agency, representatives of opposition parties in both Indian parliaments insisted on a request to investigate the possible use of the NSO spyware’s software against Indian officials.
The leader of the “Indian National Congress” party in the House of Commons of India said that on Monday the court of the House witnessed a discussion on the issue of Pegasus spyware.
A member of the Indian Congress also told Anatoly that the party wants a judicial investigation into the spyware, which will also be overseen by the Supreme Court of India.
“The main request is that we want to know if the Indian government has used it,” the Indian lawmaker said. If so, we want to know why they spied on people. If not, which countries have spied on our people? “This is a matter of national security.”
However, India’s IT minister denied the allegations, calling it a “highly emotional story” and claiming that the reports were intended to tarnish democracy and its institutions in India.
In addition to the two Indian parliaments, anti-government activists rallied and demanded a full investigation. Similar protests took place in different cities of India.
The Supreme Court of India is set to hear a petition on Thursday calling for an independent inquiry into the allegations against Pegasus software.
In recent days, the revelation of a worldwide espionage scandal involving heads of state, opposition figures, journalists and human rights activists, whose list includes some 50,000 potential espionage targets using Israeli software, has been reflected globally and in addition to the anger of world political leaders. And international criticism has raised concerns about the activities of the Zionist company and the cyber surveillance industry and technology in general.
This military spyware, which has the ability to secretly hack and control iPhone and Android phones, by infecting smartphones, can extract messages, images and emails, and secretly activate the microphones and cameras of the devices.
Following the revelation of the Western media about Pegasus’s spyware and the sale of this software to some authoritarian countries for espionage activities, including the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, the Guardian newspaper, which has been exposing the NSO for a long time, revealed that the government Aviv has licensed the software to the Saudi government.
The matter went so far that the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, changed his mobile phone and number due to fears that he had been targeted by the Zionist spy.
Reacting to the news, Edward Snowden, a well-known American whistleblower, said that it was unlikely that US President Joe Biden’s cell phone had also been hacked by the spyware.
On the other hand, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, in response to a reporter’s question about the Pegasus program, said that it is important that the Pegasus hacking software does not fall into the hands of incompetent people.
