The Saudi Anti-Corruption Agency, known as “Nazha”, announced the interrogation of 757 defendants in criminal and administrative cases and the temporary detention of 241 citizens and residents of the country.
According to the Saudi newspaper Okaz, the organization stated. The detainees are employees of the Ministry of Interior, Health, Urban and Rural Affairs, Housing, Ministry of Education, Human Resources and Development and Social Affairs, the General Organization of Customs, and the Saudi Post.
The organization emphasized: The detainees are accused of bribery, official abuse, and embezzlement.
The organization also noted that investigations and interrogations to refer them to the judiciary are being completed and will continue to protect the public property.
