Azad called the position of followers of other Islamic religions in Iran appropriate and praiseworthy and added: “Considering the friendly ties between the two nations of Iran and Pakistan, we hope that by taking a step towards forming a single nation, they will overcome the challenges facing Muslims.”
The head of the National Committee for the Establishment of Pakistan, referring to the verses of the Qur’an on the unity of Muslims, stated: As the verse of the Qur’an refers to grasping the divine rope, so everyone must be committed to the rapprochement between the religions of Islam.
Iqbal Lahori, the common axis of Iran and Pakistan for unity
In this meeting, Hojjatoleslam Shahriari said: Iqbal Lahori developed the idea of rapprochement and unity in Pakistan and has become the common axis of the two neighbors Iran and Pakistan.
Using the tools of hope from the useful point of view of Khatib Shahi in the discussion of rapprochement, he enumerated the axes of friendship between Iran and Pakistan and added: “Belief in approximate thinking and unity is the first axis that leads to friendship between two neighbors.”
He added: Allameh Iqbal Lahori’s poems are another factor of friendship between the two nations, which increases the closeness by promoting Persian literature.
Pointing out that your ancestors in Pakistan were familiar with the Persian language, the professor said that the meaning and content of Iqbal Lahori’s poems are a common point between Iran and Pakistan.
Emphasizing that staying away from the arrogant is following the school of monotheism, he said: “The thinking of Iqbal Lahore, who was the unifier of Muslims, should be spread among the people with your statement.”
In the continuation of this meeting, Mawlawi Nazir Ahmad Salami, the representative of Zahedan people in the Assembly of Leadership Experts, emphasizing that unity is not necessary but the main principles to increase the power of Muslims, said: “The enemies seek to plunder Muslim resources by creating divisions.”
