Russian official: Imam Khomeini (RA) led Iran on the divine path.
Ismail Imam Shabanov, the Russian president’s adviser on ethnic affairs, said: “Imam Khomeini (RA) led Iran on the divine path and a just struggle against oppression, and the path was accepted by the whole world.”
Speaking to IRNA in Moscow on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s demise, Shabanov said that the Islamic Revolution in Iran has become a turning point in history, adding: “Thanks to the character of Imam Khomeini and now with The wise leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, no force in the world can hinder Iran’s progress towards justice and peace.
“Iran has always played a key role in the region,” the Russian official said. In ancient history, the oldest experience of wars and diplomacy is reflected in the genetics of the Iranian people. From Islamic sources, we are familiar with the narrations of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the Imams (AS) that Iran will be the center of Islamic sciences.
“Iran is the best Islamic country,” Shabanov said, noting that Iran is currently at its highest historical position. Throughout history, no Muslim country has been able to replicate the Iranian experience. Great trials await this country; Iranians have come out of many trials with dignity. The experience of Iranians must be significant. After the revolution, Iran became a global actor and in the cultural dimension became the bearer of the idea of global resistance.
“Unfortunately, sometimes there are misunderstandings among the people and the enemy has tried many times to infiltrate the Iranian and Muslim society,” he said. “But every time a new plan is prepared against the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Muslim disciples, is a disciple.” And Imam Khomeini’s student, with a speech, thwarted their plans.
