Imam Khomeini (RA) introduced a new discourse in the Islamic world
The head of the World Union of Lebanese Resistance Scholars announced that Imam Khomeini (ra) from the beginning of the Islamic Movement in Iran paid special attention to the issues of the Islamic world, including Palestine, and introduced a new discourse in the Islamic world.
Perhaps when officials at the time of the Zionist regime referred to the Iranian revolution as the earthquake of the century, few realized the depth of its impact on the future of regional events. The maximum understanding of the warnings of the Western and Israeli security centers to the Iranian revolution was that the Iranian revolution would not remain on the borders of this country and would affect the political culture of other countries, especially the region.
The West believed that the Islamic Revolution of Iran contained dangerous concepts in its content that would not only inform the nations of the region but also threaten its interests and security, especially the Zionist regime. They knew that beyond all these concepts and also its creator, there is a powerful leadership that knows well the direction and process of continuing the work and management of political processes and was the point of convergence of the Iranian people.
The main problem was that they realized that the leadership of the Iranian revolution would never be willing to back down from set priorities or negotiate principles. One of the important intellectual axes of Imam Khomeini (ra) was hatred of compromise with the Zionist regime. Several approaches were put on the agenda to counter the Imam’s revolution, the most important of which was to create concern among the nations of the region by using Iranophobia.
After 42 years, Iran’s priorities for Palestine have not changed. Iran has always been a supporter of Palestine, and this has not been affected by developments or the economic situation, crises, sanctions or any other issue. Sheikh Maher Hammoud, Secretary-General of the International Union of Lebanese Resistance Scholars, told Mehr News Agency: “Undoubtedly, Imam Khomeini is a new discourse.” Raised in the Islamic world. Yes, this was based on agreed-upon concepts, led by Palestine and Jerusalem and the decline of Israel.
He added: “These slogans and concepts should have united the Islamic world and all moved in a certain approach along with Imam Khomeini, but unfortunately the American conspiracy was bigger than this and countries like Saudi Arabia and others moved to magnify religious differences and They tried to present a picture of the Islamic Revolution that seems to seek domination or to change religion to other religions and other cases, and in this way, they succeeded and built a high barrier between Iran and the Muslims.
Sheikh Hammoud emphasized: “I do not think that anyone has had a serious dialogue with Iran since the revolution, and instead they paid attention to slander and accusation or sought research in old books about what Shiites and Iran have from Islam, or They accused a woman of Iran and even attacked Imam Khomeini.
Sheikh Hammoud denounced the role of a book called (The Role of the Magi) which became very popular and was published at the expense of hostile parties and unfortunately had a great impact on the minds of young people and said: “We say this is the responsibility of the actors of the Islamic world and unfortunately the Muslim Brotherhood They have a great responsibility because they seem to be presenting an ideal model intellectually and culturally, and what they present in their seminars in everyday culture and in their literature is a great thing that is almost based on the principles of Islam and the expression of views. Modern science is summarized for the use of Islam in the modern world.
The Secretary-General of the World Union of Lebanese Resistance Scholars added: “The tragedy in this great difference was between theory and practice and between speech and action, as God Almighty warned: O you who believe! Why do you say something you do not do? It is very angry with God to say something you do not do.
He emphasized: “Unfortunately, they say good and great things, but in practice, they sought opportunities and put themselves under the control and service of American policies, and that is why, when they allow, they move and act on the orders of the United States.” And unfortunately, when the United States blocks and forbids them, they also move in the direction of the dictates of the United States, with the exception of Hamas and some factions that are Brotherhood but do not move in that direction.
