Field surveys of Afghanistan’s civil war show that many British nationals previously linked to terrorist groups such as al-Qaeda and ISIS have joined the Taliban in recent days with smuggling into Afghanistan.
According to the report, the Sun published a detailed report, quoting a senior British security official, as saying that the wiretaps between two British citizens and the Taliban showed that British terrorists were planning to join the Taliban. And has expanded the scope of the war against the Afghan government.
“We have reports of telephone interceptions by two British men, possibly under the age of 30, whose telephone conversation reflects their London accent,” the senior British security official told The Sun.
The British government intelligence official also said that the two identified individuals had joined the Taliban and were fighting the Afghan central government.
At the same time, it is said that it is not possible to access the exact location of these two people by intercepting the mobile phone line they are using.
According to the British Security Service, British volunteers to join the Taliban have traveled from London to Pakistan and smuggled into Afghanistan through the country’s northern borders to join the Taliban.
Documents in the British Security Service archives also show that before 9/11, a group of British citizens flew and, in some cases, trains to jihadist groups in Pakistan and joined al-Qaeda.
