Humiliation for British government, drinking and partying amid coronavirus crisis.
Revelations that the British government has been celebrating amid Crohn’s restrictions have increased pressure on the prime minister to resign.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has faced a new scandal following revelations that a senior government official in the midst of the first Quaid-19 quarantine had sent out invitations to dozens of Prime Minister’s office staff attending a party. The pressure on him to resign has intensified.
Martin Reynolds, Assistant to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, has invited more than 100 staff members of the Prime Ministerial Complex to attend a May 20, 2020, May Fools’ Day Garden at 10 Downing Street (Home and Office of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom). In this e-mail, he asked the guests to bring their own alcoholic beverages to the party and “enjoy the most pleasant and pleasant weather.”
According to British media reports, on the date announced for the celebration, strict restrictions and quarantine were in place in the UK and even death was ordered to prevent more than two people from gathering in open spaces.
The revelation follows a series of scandals over illegal celebrations inside and around the prime minister’s building. The scandals have sparked public outrage over the Johnson administration’s actions, eroding the Conservative Party’s popularity in opinion polls and putting its actions as prime minister under the microscope.
