Human Rights Watch: Saudi Arabia violates the rights of Yemeni workers.
Human Rights Watch (Human Rights Watch) has stated that Saudi Arabia is violating the rights of the Yemeni labor force by imposing strict policies.
According to Al-Masira news agency today (Sunday), the international organization called on Saudi Arabia to repeal its work visa policies, which could lead to the forced return of Yemenis en masse and endanger their lives.
Saudi Arabia began terminating or not renewing the contracts of the Yemeni workers last July, and may force them to return to the humanitarian crisis in Yemen.
Human Rights Watch added: “Saudi Arabia has caused a human rights crisis in Yemen due to repeated violations of the laws of war by its coalition, and has intensified the current catastrophe in order to destroy the country’s infrastructure.”
The organization noted that Saudi Arabia has always sought praise for its humanitarian aid in Yemen, but that this decision puts many Yemenis in serious danger.
In April 1994, Saudi Arabia launched a large-scale offensive against Yemen, the poorest Arab country, in the form of a coalition of several Western and Arab countries, with US assistance, under the pretext of returning ousted fugitive President Abd al-Mansour Hadi to power.
The aggression has killed thousands of Yemenis so far, and according to the United Nations, the famine in the country has become the biggest humanitarian catastrophe in the world.
