Hezbollah: The Western-American project in Lebanon is to strike a blow at the resistance.
Ibrahim al-Moussawi, a member of the Lebanese parliament’s loyalty faction to the resistance, said in a televised interview that the Lebanese government was formed on the basis of regional and international interactions, and that France wants the government to continue until parliamentary elections are held.
He stressed that the Western-American project in Lebanon is to strike at the resistance and will never be realized: Lebanon is still in a position of power and the recent actions of the Gulf countries are a clear interference in Lebanese affairs.
Hezbollah’s representative in the Lebanese parliament further emphasized: Saudi Arabia today has lost its initiative and vision and is engaged in rotating wars that do not achieve any goal.
He also said that we are now witnessing one of the seasons of Saudi confusion and that the Saudis should know that what happened to them in Yemen and Syria will be repeated to them in Lebanon.
Lebanese Minister of Media George Qardahi said in a television interview recorded in August that Yemen’s Ansar al-Islam was defending itself against attacks by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, and that the aggressors must stop their aggression in Yemen.
The remarks caused a great deal of controversy over the war in Yemen and upset the Saudi-led Arab-American aggression coalition in Yemen.
According to Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, the Saudis’ main problem in Lebanon is not George Qardahi’s remarks; Rather, it is Hezbollah and its weapons and the powerful presence of this movement in the Lebanese political arena.
