Herzog: Azerbaijan is a friendly country for Israel.
Isaac Herzog, the head of the Israeli regime, left for Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on Tuesday. He is supposed to meet and talk with his Azerbaijani counterpart.
Upon his arrival in Baku, Herzog was welcomed by Azeri officials and told the media of the Republic of Azerbaijan that Azerbaijan is a friendly country with many fields of cooperation.
The head of the Israeli regime said before leaving for Baku and before boarding the plane: “This is an important state visit.” He continued: “Azerbaijan is an important country and I am sure that my trip will pave the way for deepening cooperation.”
The head of the Israeli regime thanked Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev for the sincere invitation and noted: “We also have new opportunities and challenges in common.”
