Hebrew media: Israel lost to Hezbollah drone.
A Hebrew newspaper stated yesterday that the Israeli army failed to intercept Hezbollah’s infiltration drone into the occupied territories, adding that the Israeli army had failed both in terms of security and economy.
The Hebrew newspaper Kalkalist reported on Friday evening that trying to intercept a Lebanese Hezbollah drone had been costly for the Zionist army.
“F-16 fighter jets and Apache helicopters and Iron Dome missiles failed to intercept the drone that infiltrated Israel from Lebanon,” the Kalkalist newspaper reported. The calcalist added that this inability, in addition to the security failure, is also an economic failure for the Tel Aviv army and requires that the regime’s forces use available and low-cost means to intercept.
“Hezbollah and the Hamas movement are well known in the field, and their aim is not only to block Israel from infiltrating UAVs into airspace, but to establish a basis for an attack using weapons,” the report said.
“The Israeli air force activated the Iron Dome fire and fired F-16s and Apache helicopters; “But they could not prevent the drone from returning to Lebanon.”
The Hebrew newspaper added: “This is not just a victory in psychological warfare; “Of course, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary general of Hezbollah, is proud of it, and if this drone has a camera with it, [Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah] will be proud of this video as well.” The calcalist added that it was also “a worrying economic failure, the loss of Israel in the new war economy.”
“Fighters and helicopters usually fly in pairs, and the cost of each F-16 variant per hour in the US Air Force is about $ 22,000,” he said, referring to the financial losses caused by yesterday’s defeat. The cost of each type of Apache helicopter in the US military is about $ 4,000. “The cost of each missile fired by the Iron Dome to intercept it is about $ 50,000.”
However, the newspaper noted that the Israeli Ministry of War did not announce the cost of its flight hours.
