Hebrew media claims that Saudi Arabia is one step closer to normalization.
Yediot Aharonot news site wrote in related news that the Saudis have proposed to the officials of the Palestinian Authority under the leadership of Abu Mazen, that in exchange for Riyadh’s compromise with Tel Aviv, the organization will benefit from generous economic assistance from Saudi Arabia.
This Hebrew media, quoting Western media sources, added: Saudi officials are trying to align them with the idea of establishing relations between Riyadh and Tel Aviv by offering huge financial and economic aid to the self-governing organizations, and in this way gain the legitimacy of signing the agreement. And get out of the burden of the accusation of slaughtering the idea of forming a Palestinian state to achieve its goals.
