Haniyeh: The martyrdom of “Nasser Abu Hamid” is a crime and will not go unanswered.
The head of the political office of the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas reacted to the martyrdom of Nasser Abu Hamid, a Palestinian prisoner in the prisons of the Zionist regime.
Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political office of the Hamas Islamic Resistance Movement, emphasized that the martyrdom of Nasser Abu Hamid after years of fighting cancer is a new crime against the Palestinian nation and the entire humanity that will definitely not go unanswered.
On Tuesday, Ismail Haniyeh expressed his condolences to the Palestinian prisoner’s mother and all the heroic Palestinian prisoners, and stressed that the resistance will not stop trying to free the Palestinian prisoners from the prisons of the Zionist regime and free the soil of this land.
It should be noted that 50-year-old Palestinian prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid, who was suffering from cancer and was in a critical condition, was martyred this Tuesday morning at the Asaw Hospital in the occupied territories of 1948. The Board of Prisoners and Freedmen Affairs announced that Abu Hamid, a resident of Amari camp near Ramallah, died as a result of the policy of deliberately short-sighted medical care and the neglect of the Zionist prisons organization, which led to the further deterioration of his condition.
This Palestinian prisoner fell into a coma yesterday and was taken to the hospital. The Board of Prisoners and Released Persons and other Palestinian legal institutions had repeatedly demanded the release of this prisoner suffering from cancer and had warned against his martyrdom, but still the Zionist regime refused to release him. Martyr Abu Hamid was sentenced to life imprisonment 7 times and 50 years imprisonment.
