Hamas: We are ready for full-scale war and the defeat of the occupiers is unprecedented.
In a conversation with Al-Mayadeen, Saleh al-Arouri, the vice-chairman of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, while announcing the resistance’s readiness to enter into an all-out war with the Zionist regime, spoke of the unprecedented defeat of this regime in the upcoming war.
The vice-chairman of the political office of Hamas continued: “We are preparing for an all-out war and we are consulting and talking behind closed doors with all the groups that are related to this battle.”
He continued: The equation in the West Bank has changed and we are facing a new equation that is changing in favor of the resistance and its allies and the anti-occupationists.
Al-Aroori added: “The resistance can close the sky and the sea to the occupying regime, and in this case, they will no longer have electricity, communications, or economy.”
The vice-chairman of the political office of Hamas said: We were offered the formation of a national unity government, but we announced that we will agree to this proposal only if parliamentary and presidential elections are held.
Al-Aroori continued: We want the formation of a national government as a prelude to measures such as holding general elections to return unity to Palestine.
He added: We are worried about playing with Palestine by America and the occupying regime after Abu Mazen. Presidential elections should be held in the presence of Abu Mazen and this action should include the formation of the Palestinian government system on a solid foundation.
