“Al-Akhbar” newspaper in a report entitled “Hamas-Damascus; The end of the spring nightmare” wrote, the trip of Hamas officials in the form of a Palestinian delegation to Syria this week and the meeting with the President of this country, Bashar Assad, was the official announcement of putting aside the ten-year differences between Hamas and Damascus; This meeting took place with the efforts of different parties in the axis of resistance in order to resume relations between Hamas and Syria and strengthen support for the Palestinian resistance.
In this context, Hamas-affiliated sources told Al-Akhbar newspaper that this historic step will be accompanied by other steps in the coming days, which will eventually lead to the opening of the Hamas office in Syria. These sources emphasized that trust building between Hamas movement and Syria will continue in a stable way at both public and official levels.
In the continuation of this report, the trip of the Hamas delegation in Syria lasted for several hours, during which meetings were held with the Syrian authorities in order to bring closer the views and discuss the future steps, how to support the Palestinian resistance and also confront the aggression of the Zionist regime and its projects.
