Hamas praised Malaysia’s opposition to the agreement with Tel Aviv.
In a statement, Hamas praised Malaysian Foreign Minister Saifuddin Abdullah for denying the Zionist regime’s claims about Malaysia’s decision to normalize relations with the regime.
The statement praised Abdullah’s stance and his emphasis on standing with the Palestinian people in a just struggle against the Israeli occupation regime.
According to the Rai Al-Youm newspaper, Hamas also praised Malaysia’s historic commitment to fighting the normalization of relations and opposing the Zionist regime’s evil plan to infiltrate the region and dominate its facilities to the detriment of the nation and future generations.
The Malaysian Foreign Minister stressed on Wednesday (yesterday) that his country is steadfast in supporting the struggles of the Palestinian people and opposing the continuation of Israeli aggression in the territories.
Abdullah also denied Israeli claims that Malaysia would likely join the “Abraham” compromise agreement.
Earlier, Israeli Minister of Regional Cooperation Issawi Frigue claimed that Oman, Tunisia, Qatar and Malaysia were likely to join an agreement to normalize relations with the regime.
