Hamas: Israel is using normalization to attack Syria and carry assassinations in Iran.
The head of Hamas’s Arab and Islamic relations office said that the occupying regime, taking advantage of the normalization of relations, was carrying out actions such as attacking Syria and carrying out terrorist operations in Iran.
In an interview with Al-Aqsa TV, Khalil al-Hayat, the head of the Hamas office for Arab and Islamic relations, condemned the recent Israeli attack on Damascus airport.
According to the report, al-Hayat stressed the unity of the Syrian people and its territorial sovereignty, adding that the Zionist regime is attacking Syria because it has failed to accompany the country with a wave of normalization of relations with Tel Aviv. “The occupiers have failed to subdue Syria.”
He expressed hope that Syria would return to its leading role in the region, given its depth and position.
Al-Hiya added that the Zionist regime, by exploiting the normalization of relations, is seizing Lebanese wealth, bombing Damascus airport or carrying out assassinations in Iran. The Hamas official added, “The normalization of the process of Judaization, settlement and the aggression of the occupiers has accelerated.” “The Zionist enemy must not be an ally or friend of any Islamic or Arab country.”
He went on to call for the widest Arab-Islamic campaign to betray the entire nation: The Zionist enemy should not be a friend or ally of any Arab or Islamic country, this regime is a danger to the region and threatens its security and stability.
Al-Haya then stressed the need to continue the resistance against the occupiers and to strengthen the defense forces, as well as the resistance of the Palestinian people. He added that the Zionist regime must take full responsibility for not lifting the siege of Gaza; Gaza is a lever for the Palestinian cause and pays the price for standing up and defending Al-Aqsa Mosque.
