Google blocked Trump’s account in the Play Store.
Google has stopped access to the social network of the former American president in Google Play.
Google has blocked the social network of “Donald Trump”, the former president of the United States, which is called “TruthSocial” in Google Play.
Google said that “TruthSocial” violated the company’s policies on the prohibition of physical threats and incitement to violence.
Google’s new action makes it difficult to download this program for Android mobile phones. Devin Nunes, the CEO of Truth Social, has previously criticized Google, calling it a “monopolistic company”.
TruthSocial was unveiled on the App Store in February, coinciding with George Washington’s birthday. However, this app is not yet available on Google Play.
Last week, the CEO of Truth Social said that whether this program will be available on Google Play or not depends on the Google Play Store.
But Google said that Truth Social must follow the company’s rules. A Google spokesperson told the BBC: “On August 19, we reported several violations of our policies to TruthSocial.”
He added: “Having effective systems for editing and modifying the content produced by users is one of our conditions for the operation of any program on Google Play.”
Google says it has informed TruthSocial how to fix these problems. TruthSocial did not respond to the BBC’s request for comment.
