“The international community must understand that if the Iron Dome had not intercepted the 1,200 missiles fired at residential centers on the home front, we would now have hundreds of dead and massive destruction,” Israeli War Minister Benny Gantz told reporters.
He added: “What we saw before in Gaza is different from what we will see in the future.” The return of our captives and the long-term ceasefire are part of the conditions for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, which will be implemented by the Palestinian Authority and the countries of the world and the region. “

“I have spoken to the Americans, Egyptians and other representatives of the world and made it clear to them that in addition to the importation of basic goods such as food and medicine into Gaza, we want this,” he said. “Let the reconstruction of Gaza be accompanied by a long-term ceasefire and let our captured soldiers return home.”
“We will work to strengthen relations with the Palestinian Authority, and I hope it will take responsibility for some of what is happening in the Gaza Strip,” he said.
