“If one day we are forced to occupy Gaza, we will do so,” said Bani Gantz, Israel’s minister of war, in a speech that signaled the regime’s failure and inability to win an 11-day war against Palestinian Islamic resistance groups.
Gantz also stressed that “Israel will not allow the missile fire or explosive balloons from the Gaza Strip after the end of the military operation with Palestinian groups.”
“Mohammed al-Deif, commander-in-chief of al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’ military wing, and Yahya Sanwar, head of the movement’s political bureau in the Gaza Strip, remains among Israel’s targets,” he said.
Zionists acknowledge the defeat of “Mohammad Deif” assassination plot
The attempt to find and assassinate Mohammad Deif, commander-in-chief of the Qassam Brigades, was the main reason for the prolongation of the war against Gaza, but these efforts were ultimately fruitless and the plot to assassinate Zaif failed.
The bombing of the Gaza Strip after failing to stop the resistance rocket attacks
According to the Palestine Information Center, the pilot of one of the Israeli army fighters that took part in the bombing of residential towers in Gaza in the recent attack acknowledged that the bombing of these towers was a way to vent their frustration after failing to stop resistance rocket attacks.
Israeli Channel 12 has interviewed a group of Israeli pilots who were involved in the bombing of nine residential towers in Gaza, including some media outlets.
One of the pilots, who was only mentioned in the first letter of his name “D” by the 12th channel of the Zionist regime, acknowledged that the attacks against the Gaza Strip were very intense and widespread. “We dumped tons of ammunition and fire on Gaza and no one doubts that,” he said.
“When we went out to carry out the attacks, I felt that the bombing of the towers was the only way to vent our frustration with what had happened and that the success of the Palestinian groups was continuing to crush us,” he said of how he and other Israeli pilots felt.
“We could not stop the missiles and we could not harm their commanders, so we bombed the towers,” he said.
