For the first time; Turkish tourists travel to Egypt without a visa.
The Russian “Arti” news site reported on Monday morning, quoting Saleh Motlusen, the chargé d’affaires of the Turkish Embassy in Cairo, that Turkish citizens will be able to travel to Egypt without obtaining visas.
In a tweet on his personal Twitter account, Salih Mutlusen, the Turkish Chargé d’Affaires in Cairo, announced this and added that for the first time, in the last ten years, this happened between the two countries, and that Turkish tourists can depart from Izmir Airport from April 19 (April 20). Go to Egypt.
The Turkish Chargé d’affaires in Cairo said: “Our citizens can enter Egypt without a visa. Good luck.”
While Ambassador Shen did not provide any details in his post, there has been no official statement from Egypt yet.
It should be mentioned that last Thursday, Turkish Foreign Minister Cavusoglu discussed and reviewed the mechanism of strengthening Fimabin relations in a meeting with his Egyptian counterpart.
Türkiye and Egypt have normalized relations after a decade. This action was carried out at the request of Ankara because after a decade of tension with its neighbors and some countries of North Africa and the Middle East, it seeks to normalize relations with them. It will probably reach Syria in the future.
