Al-Maqdad said: The standing of the two nations in the face of the challenges and conspiracies of the Westerners is a heroic stand and reflects the support of the people of the two countries to the leaders of the two countries and the brave policies that the two countries have taken. Iran and Syria had a joint stand against the efforts of the Zionist regime to support terrorists in the region, and they also stood up against the efforts of the West to support Daesh, Jabhat al-Nusra, and other terrorist groups, This joint stand is the realization of victory for us.
He said: We discussed the issue of Palestine and the occupied Syrian Golan and emphasized the importance of the continued standing of the Palestinian nation and the Syrian people in the occupied Golan and that the victory and freedom of the occupied Arab lands will be certain at the hands of the Zionist regime and the people of these lands will be able to Win against the barbaric actions of the Zionist regime.
The head of the Syrian diplomacy added: We talked about the recent BRICS meeting in South Africa, which was an important turning point in international developments. We congratulate Iran, Egypt, UAE, and Saudi Arabia for joining this organization. This is a development that will bring tremendous changes in the economic and investment dimensions of the world.

Al-Maqdad added: The representatives of the Iraqi nation, both in the government and in the parliament, and the political parties, stated that they will not allow an invasion of Iraqi territory against Syria. While appreciating the positions of the Iraqi officials, we are confident that they will not allow the United States or the alleged coalition to take action against the relations between Syria and Iraq.
