A Hebrew-language media outlet quoted Israeli intelligence sources as saying that the regime’s army had tried at least twice to assassinate Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades Hamas’s military wing commander Al-Deif, but had failed.
The Times of Israel reported that the Israeli army had carried out at least two operations to assassinate Mohammed al-Deif in the past nine days, but that the commander of the al-Qassam Brigades had survived.
Without mentioning the details of the failed operation to assassinate al-Daif, the newspaper noted that the Israeli government had not previously allowed the allegations to be made public.
In this regard, the 12th channel of the Zionist regime television, quoting military sources, announced that the Israeli army is trying to assassinate Al-Daif and other senior commanders of Palestinian groups, especially Hamas.
According to the source, the commander of the Israeli army told Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that “the current situation allows the assassination of Al-Daif and other prominent figures.”
The Zionist regime and the Hamas movement have denied media reports about the parties achieving the ceasefire.
