Extortion of power/ A look at the arrangement of active political forces in Sudan.
Simultaneously with the intensification of internal conflicts in Sudan and the complexity of the situation in this African country and the greed of foreign activists, the Sputnik news website has presented a report on the nature of military groups active in the Sudanese civil war.
Based on this report, the current military-political arrangement in the scene of the Sudanese civil war between the ruling forces (army) of Sudan and the militias known as “Quick Support Forces”, “Transitional Governing Council”, “Forces of Freedom and Change”, political movement ” National Nation, “Communist” Party, “Muslim Brotherhood”, “Nada” political coalition, “Justice and Equality” movement and Sudan liberation movement are arranged.
Sudan has been plunged into chaos since a military coup that ousted the political government in October 2021. Previously, the differences between the vice president of Sudan’s ruling council, who is the commander of the rapid reaction forces, and the head of the council and the commander of the army, had raised concerns about the confrontation between the army and the rapid reaction forces.
In recent weeks, both the army and the rapid reaction forces had gathered forces and weapons in and around Sudan’s capital, Khartoum. Before this, the army had strengthened its presence in the center of the city and deployed armored vehicles in almost all the intersections leading to the country’s presidential palace.
