Local media sources say that the US company Delta Energy is preparing the equipment and devices needed to extract oil and deploy them in oil fields located in northeastern Syria with the aiming to start exploiting them in the near future.
According to these Syrian sources, Delta Energy is set to start oil extraction in Syria with the Ramilan and Al-Jabsa fields near the city of Hasakah, the capital of Hasakah province, because these two fields are like the Deir ez-Zor oil fields in eastern Syria. They do not need protection and care.
One of the engineers of this American oil company, which is connected with Al-Jazeera oil company, which operates in northeastern Syria, noted that one of the future plans of Delta Energy Company is to repair, equip and renovate the Deir ez-Zor oil fields, which have been affected by the war damaged and unable to function.
However, the Delta Energy engineer stressed that there is still no specific plan and schedule for the company to start operating in these fields and start extracting oil from them.
He noted that a consulting engineer affiliated with the company is in charge of the extraction and exploitation of oil fields in northeastern Syria, and is currently visiting the oil fields with a team of engineers and examining their condition to begin oil extraction from this Square hosts.
The Delta Energy engineer said that until now, only Al-Jazeera Oil Company had been allowed to enter the file of oil fields located in the areas occupied by “Qasd”, adding: the oil extracted from these fields will go to the Iraqi Kurdistan region. , Because the United States continues to insist on preventing the Syrian regime from gaining access to its oil fields.
