Expert on regional issues: The liberation of Quds should be at the top of the priorities of the Islamic world.
According to the regional affairs analyst, given the growing crimes of the Zionist regime against the Palestinian people, the issue of the liberation of Holy Quds should really be at the top of the priorities of the Islamic world.
Nemat Mirza Ahmad, an analyst on regional issues, in an interview with a Fars News Agency regional correspondent, stressed that important and influential Islamic countries, regardless of the problems and issues between each other, should move together to liberate “Holy Quds”. Make it one of the constant priorities of the Islamic world.
He said: 40 years ago, Imam Khomeini (RA) declared the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as the International Day of Quds in order to provide the basis for Islamic unity in supporting the oppressed people of Palestine and finally resolving this issue by the Muslims themselves. In fact, with this historic and God-pleasing act, Imam Khomeini took the issue of Palestine out of the framework of the so-called “Arab-Jewish” ethnic and racial conflict and made it one of the main issues on the agenda of the Islamic world.
Mirza Ahmad continued: “It was after this that the Islamic dimension of the Quds issue became prominent and led to the formation of the Islamic resistance of Palestinian groups against the occupying regime.” On the other hand, drawing the attention of the Islamic Ummah to the oppression of Palestine led to the recognition and neutralization of numerous conspiracies of the Zionist regime and its supporters, which aroused the feeling of empathy of Muslims and freedom seekers of the world with the honorable people of Palestine. The defeat of the Zionist regime in the 33-day war with Lebanon, the 22-day and eight-day war with the people of Gaza shows that despite the strong support of the United States and the West for the occupiers, the Muslim people have a firm will to win and liberate the occupied territories.
In another part of the conversation, he added: “The world is witnessing that since 74 years ago, when the Zionist regime declared its existence, it has always carried out brutal attacks against the Palestinian people, which is unprecedented in human history.” This bloodthirsty regime, with the support of the United States and Britain, expelled millions of Palestinians from their land and turned this border into a place where Muslims were killed.
