Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has expressed hope that his official visit to the UAE will be repeated with goodwill for the people of the two countries and the entire region.
According to the Anatolian News Agency, Erdogan tweeted today, ending his two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates, expressing hope for the expansion of Abu Dhabi-Ankara relations. .
Erdogan wrote: “We believe that this trip will open new horizons of cooperation for us; “I wish this trip to be repeated and bring good to the people of the two countries and the whole region.”

The remarks come as Abu Dhabi-Ankara relations have been strained in recent years due to many political issues and regional security issues, such as Turkey’s close cooperation with Qatar, interventions in Libya, peace agreements with the Zionist regime and the Syrian crisis.
