Dmitry Medvedev: NATO is actually trying to ignite the fire of World War III.

Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the National Security Council of Russia and former President of the country, noted: Any peacekeeping force on the front lines of Ukraine will be destroyed if deployed without our consent.

 He clarified that NATO has proposed the idea of ​​peacekeeping forces in Ukraine to impose its desired peace. In our opinion, peacekeeping forces affiliated to NATO will enter into confrontation with us alongside the enemies.

 Medvedev stated that NATO is trying to inflame the situation and move the crisis to the stage of no return, and in practice to ignite the fire of World War III.

 Advisor to Ukrainian President Zelensky said: Any ceasefire means that it gives Russia the right to remain in the occupied territories, and this is not acceptable.

 He added that we have the right to transfer troops and equipment to our soil and the idea of ​​Western peacekeeping forces is ridiculous.

 According to this Ukrainian official, Russia’s presidency of the Security Council is a reminder of the mistakes in the functioning of the international security infrastructure.
