Dismissal of Kuwaiti journalist for supporting relations with Tel Aviv.
The Kuwaiti newspaper fired one of its reporters for encouraging the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime.
The Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabas wrote today (Sunday) that it fired one of its reporters after calling on social media to normalize relations with the Zionist enemy.
The newspaper further emphasized its firm stance on the crimes of the Zionist enemy and its full support for the heroic resistance of Palestine.
Al-Qabas newspaper’s decision was made after a wave of anger erupted against the newspaper on Twitter with the hashtag مقاطعة_القبس, and everyone protested against Al-Qabas journalist Jassim Al-Jarid’s tweet.
In a tweet, Jassim al-Jarid praised the progress in relations between the “Jews” and the Saudis and expressed hope that she would welcome “Eddie Cohen”, an Israeli journalist in Kuwait.
Al-Qabas newspaper at the end of last year (2021) had chosen the Palestinian nation as the champion nation of the year.
Under Kuwaiti law, “Israel” is considered a hostile party, and natural and legal persons do not have the right to enter into contracts or agreements with parties residing in occupied Palestine and persons with Israeli citizenship or those working for the regime.
