Discovery of new mass graves of Daesh victims in western Iraq.
According to Baghdad Al-Youm, Iraqi sources announced the discovery of 4 mass graves in Anbar province related to the victims of the ISIS terrorist group.
Abdulla Al-Naeli, head of the Martyrs Organization of Iraq, said: These graves are located in the south of Hit and Al-Saqlawiyah, as well as Al-Fayad in the city of Al-Falujah, and one grave is also located in Al-Tash region in Anbar province of Iraq.
He stated: The measures related to the discovery and documentation of these graves have been carried out in coordination with the security forces. Martyrs Organization of Iraq has included these graves in the annual program of digging and identifying the victims.
Al-Naeli pointed out the existence of a large number of areas discovered in Baghdad and the provinces, which are likely to be the mass graves of citizens who were victims of the Iraqi Baath regime or the ISIS terrorist group.
He added: Therefore, this organization intends to identify these graves and identify the victims.
He also announced the formation of a team to collect information and blood samples from the families of Sinjar victims who were executed by ISIS elements.
