A spokesman for the revolutionary forces of the southern Yemeni movement announced the deployment of Israeli forces on the island of Mayun.
Mohammad al-Nu’mani told Al-Alam News Network: “People on the island have reported that Israeli forces have been deployed on the island alongside American and British forces.”
He added: “In 2017, Saudi Arabia, in coordination with the UAE and the Israeli regime, expelled the people of this island and established a communication base to monitor shipping.”
Ahmed al-Qani, the Yemeni minister for dialogue, also said that the Israeli regime was trying to establish bases close to the Axis countries by expanding its influence in the region.
Noting that the available videos show the presence of Zionist forces on the island, he clarified that the warehouses on the island were built under the supervision and order of the Zionist regime.
