Damascus: US illegal presence in Syria is coming to an end.
The Syrian foreign minister called for an end to the US illegal presence in eastern Syria and stressed his country’s principled stance in support of the Palestinian cause.
“The US illegal presence in the Al-Jazeera region of Syria is on the verge of extinction and the occupied territories will return to the control of the Syrian government,” Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal al-Muqaddad told Al-Syria Channel.
According to Sana, al-Maqdad added: “The militants of the separatist group of the Syrian Democratic Forces must also understand that the occupying United States will leave our territory and leave them behind.”
He reiterated the priorities of Syrian politics and said: “When the Syrian enemies could not weaken Syria and divert it from their principled positions, they resorted to a terrorist war against it.”
The Syrian Foreign Minister called the support of the Palestinian cause a stable position of Syria and said: “Cooperation to liberate the occupied Syrian Golan is also at the top of the country’s political priorities.”
In another part of his speech, al-Muqaddad stressed that all Israeli attacks on Syrian territory have been responded to.
At the end of his message, Al-Miqdad called on the United Nations and the countries of the world to study the developments in Syria in a deep and balanced way and to cooperate with the Syrian government and support its efforts to promote a positive and constructive political approach to the situation in Syria. .
“Time is crucial for direct, responsible, serious and impartial cooperation with the Syrian government, regardless of any political considerations that do not take into account the national interests of Syria and the prospects for security, stability and prosperity of the Syrian people and counter-terrorism efforts,” he said.
