The Syrian Foreign Minister said the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons has become a tool to implement the political goals of the United States and its allies against Damascus.

He added: “The Syrian Arab Army has entered into an honorable battle against global terrorism on Syrian soil and has achieved consistent victories, and has never used chemical weapons in the toughest battles against terrorist organizations.”
The Syrian Foreign Minister added: “The draft French resolution to be presented at the 25th meeting of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, which is scheduled to be held later this year, is a new chapter in the series of conspiracies against Syria. Takes.
He described the move by the West and the United States as a “purely political decision” that could have serious consequences for the future of the Organization for the Proliferation of Chemical Weapons.
Al-Muqaddad called on the member states of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons to support Syria and to counter the politicization of Western countries in the activities of this international organization.
