The head of the diplomatic service also expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation in international issues, emphasized Iran’s firm support for Cuba and condemned sanctions and foreign interference in this country.
In this meeting, Cuban President Diaz-Canel praised the history and culture of our country, praised Iran’s scientific and technical achievements in the shadow of sanctions, and emphasized his interest in increasing contacts and relations between the two countries.
He considered the developments in the Latin American region and the world as having new opportunities to strengthen multilateralism and added: Despite the pressures, Cuba is determined to cooperate with friendly countries and remove the obstacles and challenges ahead.
