“Anwar Abbas”, the head of the Indonesian Ulama Council, condemned the American ambassador’s criticism of the law prohibiting sex outside of marriage and emphasized to him: “The American ambassador and their investment should go to hell!”
In this regard, he added: If the Americans continue to impose their positions and views in the current way, we will also tell them that you and all your investments will go to hell!
Anwar Abbas described the words of the American ambassador regarding the necessity of canceling this law as a clear threat against the people of Indonesia and interference in the affairs of this country and said: They want us to follow their opinions and if we do not do this, they will not invest in our country.
