The Zionists keyed in the construction of new settlements in the West Bank.
A number of Zionist settlers in the Birin area of the town of Bani Naeem seized a property belonging to a Palestinian citizen and began construction work on the town.
Zionist settlers today began construction on a complex in the south of the West Bank.
Eyewitnesses told the Anatolian News Agency that the Zionists began building a town complex in the Birin area of the Bani Naeem town.
According to these witnesses, the Zionist army also closed the area so that the Zionists could do their job.
This piece of land belongs to “Musa Makhmareh”, a Palestinian citizen. He said the land was “his personal property and was previously surrounded by walls and barbed wire”.
He stressed that the construction of a new town is to the detriment of the area and the peace of the residents, and is considered a violation of personal property.
Fouad al-Amour, co-ordinator of the Support and Resistance Committees in the southern city of Hebron, said the Zionist army was stationed in the area to support the settlers.
Al-Amour stressed that the Zionist army closed the area with eight vehicles so that the Zionists could start building houses, and that several towns have been built in this way.
The Palestinian people in different parts of the West Bank are exposed to the aggression of the Zionists and the Zionist army. They are trying to force the people of this area to leave their homes.
Semi-official reports indicate about 650,000 Zionist settlers in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
Under international law, the West Bank and East Jerusalem are occupied territories, and all Zionist activities to establish settlements in the area are illegal.
