The meeting of foreign ministers of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries will be hosted by China tomorrow, April 3rd.
China will host Afghanistan’s neighbors tomorrow (Wednesday, April 4) to seek humanitarian support.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Weinbin told reporters in Beijing on Monday that foreign ministers and representatives of Afghanistan’s neighbors would attend a meeting on humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
The meeting will be hosted by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, and Taliban Foreign Minister Amir Khan Mottaqi has also been invited to the meeting.
The foreign ministers of Qatar and Indonesia will also be special guests at the Beijing summit.
Meanwhile, the Chinese Foreign Minister arrived in Kabul last week during a visit to some countries in the region.
He met with Mullah Abdul Ghani, the brother of the first deputy prime minister, and Amir Khan Mottaqi, the acting foreign minister, and other Taliban government officials.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman concluded by emphasizing that Afghanistan is at a critical juncture and is facing increasing domestic and foreign problems that need the help and support of countries around the world.
