A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman told a news conference on Tuesday that the United States was the biggest factor in disrupting world order.
“China, a supporter of world peace, has been a pioneer in global development and an advocate of international order,” said a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman.
A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said he intended to make three points about the world’s order. “First, the United States is the biggest disruptor of the world order,” he said. The United States has voluntarily withdrawn from international organizations and treaties and imposed illegal unilateral sanctions and military coercion on other countries. “These actions by the United States have seriously damaged world and regional peace and are a serious violation of international law and the norms underlying international relations.”
“Second, the ‘world rule-based order’ that the United States claims to be, in fact, is a hegemonic order in which the world is dominated by the United States,” he said. The vast majority of countries in the world, including US allies, do not agree with such an order. “Only a handful of countries support and demand such a policy.”
“Third, there is only one order in the world, and that is the United Nations-centered international order,” a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said. “There is only one set of laws, and that is the basic norms governing international relations under the UN Charter.”
“International order should not be a hegemonic order dominated by the United States, and international law should not be created by the United States or a small group of US-led countries,” he stressed.
Tensions between the United States and China have reached their highest level since the normalization of relations between the two countries in 1979.
