Bloomberg: Riyadh sees Beijing as its major trading partner in the future.
In a report, the American magazine Bloomberg examined the position of the United States and China in the Saudi trade partnership and considered China to be the main trade partner of Saudi Arabia in the future.
In his report, Bloomberg described Riyadh’s vision for investment and business partnership in the future towards China; Because on the one hand, gradually, the influence of the United States in the Middle East region is decreasing, and on the other hand, China’s relations with the countries of the region are developing, and China’s presence in the Middle East is becoming more noticeable day by day.
The focus of this American magazine in this report is on holding a conference of Arab and Chinese businessmen in Riyadh, which was well received by Saudi Arabia.
This conference was held on the 11th and 12th of this month, while just a few days before, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken had traveled to Riyadh with the aim of improving relations and resolving disputes between Saudi Arabia and the United States of America.
Khalid al-Falih, the Minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia, said at the opening of this conference that the time has come for China to be the main investment partner in the development movement of the Arab world.
On the other hand, Chinese executive officials had also announced their readiness to distance the United States of America from Saudi Arabia, which is the largest oil exporter in the world.
Although the United States constantly warns about China’s role in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia has taken the approach of strengthening relations with China, which is the most important rival of the United States.
