In a Texas shooting incident, a gunman shot dead four family members and then committed suicide with a gun, injuring three others in separate separate incidents in Texas.
An American man shot and killed four members of his family, including a child, with a firearm in a Texas suburb yesterday (Saturday) local time, and then killed three others, apparently in a night shooting in the city of Navarro. Injured in Texas.
The local newspaper “Corsicana Sun” reported that the suspect in the incident was a 41-year-old man named “Kevin Milazo”, who was identified by the local police last evening. Police told local media that the deceased’s family members included the killer’s 68-year-old stepfather, Milazo’s 61-year-old mother, 21-year-old son and four-year-old son.
According to the report, after midnight Saturday, police responded to the shooting scene in Corsican, which is about 55 miles outside of Dallas. According to the Daily Sun, shortly afterwards, police responded to another shooting in the town near Frost.
Corsican police chief Robert Johnson told media that a man and a woman were shot and killed in Corsican, while a man and another child were shot and killed in Frost. Two others were injured in the Corsican shooting and another in the Frost shooting, all of whom are in critical condition.
Milazo, 41, shot and killed his stepfather, mother and two sons, aged 21 and 4, with a firearm, and committed suicide with a gun during a police chase.
ABC-affiliated WFAA reported that Milazo had apparently fled after shooting and killing family members. Police stopped him on a road and used a surveillance service to turn off his car engine. When they approached Milazo’s vehicle, he was shot in the head and was taken to hospital, where he died of his injuries.
