Earlier, the official Saudi news agency reported that hours before the call, bin Salman had a similar contact with Russian President Vladimir Putin about the Ukraine crisis.
According to the official Saudi news agency Wass, while emphasizing Riyadh’s support for all efforts to reduce tensions in the crisis, the Crown Prince announced his readiness to mediate between the parties involved and assist in all targeted international efforts to find a political solution.
Referring to Saudi humanitarian efforts, Mohammed bin Salman acknowledged that Saudi Arabia would extend for another three months the visas of resident Ukrainians and visiting tourists, which expire this month.
