According to a new poll released by PBS / NewsHour / Marist Poll on Monday, US President Joe Biden’s unpopularity set a new record and more than half of American voters expressed dissatisfaction with Biden’s performance.
In that poll, about 55 percent of Americans disapproved of Biden’s first year in the White House, while 44 percent strongly disagreed with the first year.
The poll shows that Biden’s popularity has fallen by 20 percent since he ousted former President Donald Trump last January.
In the poll, only 41 Americans approved of Biden’s performance over the past year.
Biden’s popularity among Democrats has remained unchanged, and he continues to be rejected by Republicans. The biggest drop in Biden popularity has been among independents, who have had a significant impact on Biden’s victory over Trump.
Currently, two-thirds of independents oppose Biden’s performance over the past year.
The PBS / NewsHour / Marist Poll poll was conducted between December 11 and 13 (December 20-22) among 1,400 adults with a 4% error rate.
On the other hand, a recent poll by Ipsus and ABC News shows that only 28 percent of Americans are satisfied with Biden’s performance in curbing inflation, and another 69 percent are dissatisfied with his performance on this important issue.
According to a poll conducted by Hill News, Biden’s popularity on the corona virus was somewhat acceptable, with 53% of Americans saying that according to ABC News and Ipsus polls, Joe Biden was pleased with the way he handled the Corona virus outbreak.
