Biden introduces new White House spokesperson..
The president has named a black woman as the new White House spokeswoman.
US President Joe Biden has named Karin Jean-Pierre Pierre as the new White House spokesperson. She is set to replace Jennifer Psaki.
Jean-Pierre was previously Jennifer Sacchi’s deputy. Psaki will leave the White House on May 13. Biden said in a statement that he and his wife had known Jean-Pierre for a long time.
AFP by Jean-Pierre White will be the White House’s first black spokesman. He is 44 years old and has been a member of the campaigns of Joe Biden and Barack Obama. In previous years, Janpier appeared as a political analyst on television and social media.
